Mona’s artistic explorations have spanned many art forms – resulting in a portfolio that includes photography, illustration, digital art and painting. She even holds a degree in Engineering.

Bianca Carmela

Art has molded and inspired Bianca Carmela since childhood. Now finishing up her Bachelor of Fine Art at RMIT, she has found the perfect environment to pursue her dreams. For Bianca, paintings can reveal things that are being held back, and encourage playfulness and growth. In order to tell stories across her works, she uses a vocabulary of marks.

Tina Alesi

Tina Alesi turned serious about art when she began her formal training at Holmesglen TAFE from which she went onto complete a Bachelor of Fine Art at RMIT. Playing around with bright, bold colours, texture overlays, and transparent washes, she aims for artworks that convey a good sense of balance. Her paintings dance between chance and deliberation, and channel both physical and mental energy in order to express themes from both her outer and inner worlds. Her use of geometry references back to abstract expressionism and De Stijl movements. She exhibits across Melbourne, and was just selected for residency at the Box Hill Community Arts Centre and featured in Vanilla Magazine.

Rose Giardina

Number 8 in a family of 14, Rose Giardina was never encouraged to ‘…waste time on something like creativity’. Following this advice until 55, Rose enrolled in a 7 day ‘non-speaking’ meditation. The experience transformed her, and she emerged brimming with emotion and flowing with inspiration, with a vision for the next phase of her life as an artist. Paying homage to how she was brought up, Rose connects her paintings through the continued use of leftover paint from one work to another, ensuring a thread that joins her pieces.

Nadine Dudek

Nadine Dudek left her career as a scientist in 2015 and became a painter. She usually works with watercolour, but occasionally experiments with abstract inks. Her artworks show her skill in being able to loosen her control, without the piece being turned into a giant mess, as if a child had put it together!

Brenda Mangalore

For Brenda Mangalore, creating art is about connecting to ourselves and each other. More than a pretty picture, art for her is something that can inspire an individual to express themselves authentically and honour the unfolding story of their self.  Guided by her intuitive sense of style, Brenda is known for multi-layered colourful abstract paintings, and intricate typographic drawings of inspired words of life, love and faith. Her artwork is infused with intricate detail and continues to speak to you as you live with it.
