Option 1 This exhibition displays the abstract works by John Petrie. Petrie's works "Absolute", "Delta" and "Headspace" are composed of thickly applied paint on the surface of the canvas. Petrie decides to steer the audience gaze towards the vibrant colours by framing the abstract images with white paint and creating the appearance of objects. Option 2 These pieces by Myra Carter "Unexpected Journey" and Wendy Grace's "The Scent of You" and "Tweaking" intend to bring stillness and serenity when chaos hits us unexpectedly.
