Painting is part of my spirit and for the most part is my voice, minus the words.
Art enables a magical release of expression.
Painting for me, allows a dark place to be illuminated by light, it allows a negative to become a positive. It allows confusion and frustration in my mind to become something beautiful on canvas. I love the transformation that art allows.

Abstract artwork to me is a visual form of feeling, a journey which encourages freedom and exploration, visually and emotionally.
Some of my paintings are deliberate and supposed to evoke emotion. While others are impromptu guided by experimenting and spare of the moment ideas.
All of my paintings are an extension of me and have their own story. I always invite and celebrate each persons individual interpretation.

I create art because I like to express my feelings and thoughts through my works. Art is a platform that allows that great expression.

I am different to most artists because...

I am different to most artists becuase my emotions are very reflected in my pieces. I have many styles depending on the mood and work I am creating.

When you look at my art, the thing I want you to feel is connected. once you connect with an artwork it can make you feel many things depending on the piece.

The thing I most want to say to non-artists is...

The thing I want to say to non artists is, you should give art a try, you will be very suprised at how theraputic it is, and you will be suprised by your own creativity.

I believe art is an important part of our lives because...

I believe art is an important part of lives because it allows expression via a creative portal, which can be shared and discussed by others. The beauty of artwork is also that everyone has thier own interpretation. I believe it is a great way of conneting.
