Artist bio

I used to draw a lot as a kid, I was obsessed with cartridge paper and thick tip marker pens. Sometimes I\'d hide in my room for hours and write short stories on scrap paper, not for anyone else probably just as a way to dwell in my own little world and not worry about what was going on around me. By late teens I skipped anything creative for quite a while but discovered Architectural 3d Illustration in my mid twenties, which has been my career ever since. Photography has always been a side hobby, but more seriously since buying a DSLR in 2014. Since then I have shot a couple of weddings for friends and family, a bit of architecture for work and a lot of landscapes. I started printing my landscapes in 2019 and have been selling them at weekend markets every now and then which I really enjoy. In 2021 I want to start printing more of my work in really large sizes on metal Chromaluxe panels, which look absolutely incredible with an almost 3-dimensional feel to them.

When you look at my art, the thing I want you to feel is...

Some kind of connection

I believe art is an important part of our lives because...

When you focus on creating something you enjoy it's almost a form of meditation, an enjoyable distraction from the hectic world around us. For me it is the whole process from seeing a location I want to visit and photograph. through to editing and choosing a print medium to show the images on.
