Julie Fiedler

Julie is currently undertaking a PhD titled ‘Forecasting Horse Welfare Expectations: Insights from within’ at the University of Melbourne. This project is asking people inside the horse sectors of horse racing, riding, sports, and tourism activities about horse welfare practices. Until May 2020, Julie was the Executive Officer for Horse SA, a non-profit organisation working across the South Australian horse sector on wide-ranging topics of common interest, such as horse welfare, biosecurity, and recreational trails; a position held for nearly 20 years.
