Artist bio

I am Olga. I am a positive, mostly happy, sometimes puzzled by the world individual. I make art, all sorts and in most circumstances. Art is my world. It has been my career and my focus for much of my life. I think that artists look at the world in a unique way. I am interested in everything and I will give most artistic pursuits a go. As such my work ranges from figurative to abstract. Scale is varied as well, from small intimate pieces, larger canvases to murals. I love the connection that art gives me to the world and to other people.

I create art because...

I have to, it's a compulsion. I have drawn for as long as I can remember. Art is all I ever wanted to do.

I am different to most artists because...

I'm not afraid to try new things. I am willing to fail to solve the conundrum that art often presents us with.

When you look at my art, the thing I want you to feel is...

a connection. If it touches you, if it makes you think, if it gives you an insight into my head that absolutely makes me glow!

The thing I most want to say to non-artists is...

art is for everyone. Make it, appreciate it, live it!

I believe art is an important part of our lives because...

without it life wouldn't be anywhere near as interesting.
